After their house was destroyed in the East, the woman and her daughter were transported to a village in the Lviv region, where they lived in an unheated house. The girl was often sick and the mother decided to move to Kyiv for treatment in order not to lose her only child. Due to lack of funds, they were forced to seek refuge many times. But the world is not without good people and they were advised to turn to the Charity Foundation Aspern. So one day they moved to the Mother and Child Center. Living in the center they received full social support and protection. Adapted and calmed down.
Now the girl's mother is making a real effort to forget the terrible events of their lives. She does everything to make her daughter grow up healthy and have the opportunity to develop fully.
Alice is a talented child. And recently she took part in the International competition for children and youth "Together for future" in two categories: violin and fashion. The child enjoys music lessons and learn to play the violin. And she also plays in the school fashion theater. It helped her to present the Africa fashion collection, modeling and sewing clothes using wool felting technique. When we talked, Alice reminded us that she also attends music school for piano and vocals, plays chess, sculpts from clay and makes beadworks, helps her mother to cook. "My daughter wouldn't have had it all if it weren't for the support of the Charity Foundation Aspern," said the mother.
